We offer a variety of rock types to fit every aesthetic preference and project need.

3/4"-Crushed Rock

It’s a great product for gravel driveways or can be used on paths also. Is used under concrete or asphalt too. It packs very well as it has fines in it. Many people use this product under sheds for the base as it allows water to drain and keep a solid surface.

1 1/2"-Crushed Rock

1 1/2″- crushed rock is mainly used as a base rock. This rock is ideal for new roads or deep concrete of asphalt projects that need a good solid base before adding 3/4″- rock. There are plenty of fines in it to help pack it together.

1/4"-Crushed Rock

1/4″ minus crushed rock is great for paths, under bricks or pavers also. You can use the 1/4″- to create pathways, after the product has had a chance to settle in it is a very solid surface to walk on and even push a wheelbarrow or mower across. This product can be used as a path next to a house or around a shed to create a smooth finished look that you are able to use.

Clean Crushed

1/2″-3/4″ clean crushed rock is a washed rock with no fines. This rock is a nice-looking rock that can be put in driveways as a top dressing to have a nice, finished look. It can be used alone in pathways also. Being an angular rock, it will stay in place while letting water penetrate it.

1/4"-10 Clean Crushed

1/4-10 crushed rock is a clean product with no fines. You can use this rock for pathways as it’s a nice smooth look. It doesn’t pack as tight as the 1/4″- but beings it’s a crushed angular rock it stays relatively solid.

1/4"-3/4" River Rock

1/4″-3/4″ river rock. A small river rock that is used as drainage and decorative. It is washed and has no fines in it. It can be used in flower beds or parking strips, put some weed fabric under it and it becomes a no maintenance area. Mixing various sizes of the river rock and you can do a dry creek bed.

Extra Large River Rock

1/2″-6″ river rock is used for drainage and top of a dry riverbed. We do not deliver this and its only available at our Portland office. You can pick this rock up by the pound or bucket if you would like. It varies in size, so hand picking works great. We do not deliver this size River Rock and it is at our Portland office only.

3/4"-1 1/2" River Rock

3/4″-1 1/2″ river rock is a very good drainage rock as well as a decorative rock. Works well for French drains. This size river rock works very well in parking strips and flower beds, its size is great for large areas and looks great as a finished look in an area. Can be used as a base in dry riverbeds.

Pea Gravel

Pea Gravel is 3/8″ in size and a round rock that is a very uniform rock. It does not pack well but looks nice in a path. You can use it for play areas also as it creates a somewhat soft-landing area like a soft sand as it does not pack.

Mason Sand

A clean washed sand that can be used in a large variety of ways. This sand can be used in concrete as well as sand boxes. You can spread it on an aerated lawn to fill the holes or on a putting greed to smooth the surface. It comes from the Columbia river.

3/4" Red Cinder Rock

Medium red cinder rock is 3/4″ in size and has no fines. The medium cinder rock is a very versatile rock as it can be used in flower beds or parking strips as a ground cover. You can pick it up if you are using it in small ornamental gardens or we can deliver it if you have large areas to cover.

Red Cinder Sand

Red cinder sand, used on warning paths for baseball fields and in shot put areas on tracks. The red cinder sand can be walked on as it will pack like the 1/4″-. A decorative look is achieved when using this as an accent to a yard or area. It’s also known as track sand.

Pumice

Pumice that is 3/8″-1/16 in size and is all natural. Pumice is a great amendment for flower beds to help loosen clay soil or in vegetable gardens. It is used as drainage rock and soil conditioner in plantings. It is only available at our Portland office.

2”-4” Open Rock (Rip Rap)

Commonly known as rip rap. no fines. Great to fill ditches or large areas that need good drainage. You can drive on this rock also as its size does not break down if needed to put in an accessible area. We do not deliver this rock and it is at our Portland office only for pick up.
