Firewood & Pellets for Efficient Heating
At Mt. Scott Fuel Co., we understand that the colder months of the year can be a challenge, especially when it comes to keeping your home warm and comfortable. That's why we offer a range of firewood and pellet products to help you keep your home cozy and inviting all winter long.
The Portland and Boring offices both have wood or pick-up and delivery.
There is an additional $30.00 delivery charge for North Portland zip code of 97217 and a $40.00 delivery charge for 97203 zip code.
We only have seasoned fir firewood or peeler cores in the racks.
We have only have Seasoned Fir Firewood. Our firewood is cut 15″-16″ and split to where you should be able to grab the end of the piece with one hand.
Half Rack of Wood
A half rack of wood is 1/20 of a cord and measures 40″x 16″x 16″. It is hand stacked so it is clean and stored under cover.
Full Rack of Wood
A rack of wood is 1/10th of a cord and measures 40″x 36″ x 16″. We usually have Alder in the racks. We also have fir peeler cores at our Portland office in racks. The wood is hand stacked so it is clean and stored under cover.
Pres-To-Logs
North Idaho Pres-to-logs are 8 lb compressed logs. It is all natural and no chemicals are added. Very hard and burns along time. This is from the same machines that the original Pres-to-logs came from in Longview. These are tried and true; there is no better log on the market, and its longevity proves that.
Pellets
We carry Purcell pellets. It is a premium pellet with low ash content.
Kindling (Bundle)
A bundle of kindling is 14″ long and approximately 8″ in diameter. It is usually Fir or cedar wood that is in small pieces.
Firewood (Bundles)
6 to 8 pieces of firewood great for camp fires or firepit.
